Mobile selvedge winder

Our mobile MENZEL selvedge winder is the ideal solution for winding selvedge cuttings from a wide range of materials as well as tapes and cords.

You can wind your material on cores, but also coreless. This has been realized by expanding tension cones. The contraction of the cones causes a trouble-free removal of the finished rolls.

The mechanically controlled laying unit of the edge trim winder controls the space-saving winding. Depending on the material, rolls with a max. width of 300 mm and a max. diameter of 400 mm can be wound.

The pneumatic loading and unloading of the pendulum takes place via a pressure valve. This gives you the option of setting the web tension and the winding hardness separately. Likewise, the laying speed and the turning points can be set individually on the edge trim winder.

Due to the self-cooling drive technology in the MENZEL edge trim winder, no additional forced cooling fan is required. The emergency stop of the mobile auxiliary device can easily be integrated into the safety circuit of machine lines.

We offer further versions as stand-alone units or as assemblies for direct installation in plants. In addition, all systems can be individually adapted to your respective requirements.
